N.B. In August 1946 H M Stanley founded Stanton Instruments Ltd with Bert Harrington, ex—Oertling. That business was sold to Avery in November 1968. Therefore during the period 1946 to 1968 Stan was involved with two companies simultaneously. Further, he was a founding director of Reverifications Ltd in 1962, with Tony Wallis and Gus Fenton. Therefore in the period 1962 to 1968 he was involved with three companies simultaneously.
